


The film is in theatres now.Zombieland Saga is a show that you wouldn't think twice about girls that have passed away in one form or another, and then given the Jesus Christ "resurrection on the Third Day" treatment as zombies to save a land that's largely been purged and disappeared since time being an idol show with much of the hysterity. But just in terms of sheer impressive ingenuity and lunacy, the Leaning Tower of Pisa zombie kill isn't just the best most over-the-top zombie kill in Zombieland, it may be the most over-the-top kill in the entire zombie genre.ĭirected by Ruben Fleischer from a script by Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick and David Callaham, Zombieland: Double Tap stars Woody Harrelson, Emma Stone, Jesse Eisenberg and Abigail Breslin. It's taking a very petty zombie kill taken to the most extreme level possible. But neither of them used a national landmark to splatter just three targets. Those are the kind of numbers that pale in comparison to some of the plans used by other survivors like Tallahassee or Nevada (Rosario Dawson), each of whom wipe out groups of zombies that easily break triple digits. Using an entire building to take them out is a genuinely creative way to dispatch the undead.

In a world full of absurd zombie deaths and improvised weapons, the Leaning Tower of Pisa kill deserves serious additional credit. Zombieland: Double Tap introduces a whole new level to the award, only given out for the "Zombie Kill of the Year." In both films, Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson) strives to earn the title for himself. A consistent feature of the two Zombieland films is the idea that around the world, someone is brutal and creative enough to claim they've earned the "Zombie Kill of the Week." title.
